Farmer markets offer the consumer the opportunity to support local farmers, ranchers and businesses by purchasing fresh products directly from the producer. 

Top priority will be given to local producers of agricultural products including home gardens, 

cottage foods act, baked goods and food & health related products. Along with local small homemade goods and services.

Vendor agrees to grow, make or produce at least 75% of all items they sell at each market. Vendor may sell any of the following: fresh and unpackaged home-grown vegetables, fruit, nuts, and cut flowers; potted plants and herbs (annuals and perennials); dried flowers; and fresh, home-grown food products that are minimally processed and packaged in new containers by the Vendor such as honey, other syrups, jellies, jams, preserves, persimmon pulp, dried spices and herbs, flour, cornmeal, seeds, canned produce, cider and other pressed juices, dairy products, and vinegars. Farm fresh meats. Craft goods such as jewelry, ceramics, clothing, books, furniture, etc. are also allowed if produced by the seller. Invited vendors providing entertainment, guest services, educational programming, food trucks, coffee trucks/carts or other.

Purchasing an application does not guarantee space in the farmers market. 

Once approved, you will be sent to a check-out page to purchase the dates you will attend.

What to expect

The Green Valley Ranch (GVR) Farmers Market will begin on June 4, 2025, and continue through August 27, 2025. The market will be held each Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM outside the front entrance of the GVR Recreation Center, located at 4890 Argonne Way, Denver, CO 80249.

Application Fee:
There is a $15 non-refundable application fee, and it’s payable online at the time of application submission. Email any questions to katrina@gratefulgardenllc.com. If you are not contacted within one week of your application submission, please contact Katrina to confirm if you have been approved or denied. If approved, space fees must be paid at least 48 hours prior to each market. For those vendors that sign up for all 13 market days and pay their space fees in full by April 30, 2025, they will receive a 20% discount AND will receive market space location priority. If you fail to pay for your space at least 48 hours before the market, you may not be allowed to set up at the market. The GVR Farmers Market reserves the right to refuse any applicants.


Space Fee/Assignment:
The vendor fee for each 10’X10’ space per market is a flat $40 each week (no commissions). Food trucks are $60. Services are sponsor / service levels. Inquire for more info. There is no guarantee of space availability on the day of the event for drop-in vendors ($50). The GVR Farmers Market reserves the right to assign spaces as needed.
 
Schedule:
Our farmers markets operate from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesdays. Set up may begin as early as 3:30 PM. Please allow sufficient time for your complete set-up prior to 5:00 PM. Please contact the GVR Farmers Market coordinator, if you are unsure of where to set up. PLEASE be ready to sell when the market opens. If there are customers present, you can start selling as soon as you are set up. Plan to be open from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Late vendors may not be allowed to set up. Vendor Information & Guidelines

It is your responsibility to have all of your licenses, taxes, and other required paperwork for the city and state entities, as they require. INCLUDING insurance and adding Grateful Garden LLC as additionally insured.
